Howland Blackiston, IIL
Once you've decided that a PM Maturity
Assessment is right for your organization, you'll be faced with the somewhat
daunting realization that now you've got to actually plan, organize, and
implement the assessment. Where do you start? And how do you turn all that
assessment data into a meaningful action plan? In this exciting presentation,
Mr. Blackiston provided some helpful guidelines and checklists focusing
on the following:
-
Why conduct an assessment?
-
Ways to avoid cultural resistance
-
Picking a maturity model that's best for your
organization
-
Developing an effective communications plan
-
Customizing a model to create the right fit
-
Maturity models: how do they compare?
-
Establishing responsibility for the assessment
-
Choosing an appropriate delivery method
-
Turning the results into an action plan
-
Deciding who should participate
-
Keeping top management informed
-
Developing a remedial training curriculum
-
Benchmarking your results to others
-
Doing it again…
