| Peter Vloyanetes Sr. VP TVPath & Chairperson
for the North NJ Chap ASTD for SIG on E-Learning
Creating e-Learning content is challenging
because it must address and conquer a broad array of strategic and tactical
issues ranging from course development to hardware and software information
technology, to knowledge transfer and business alignment. Uncertainties,
estimating, and risk factors, previously addressed independently, now become
interwoven in a more complex and dynamic manner. Mitigation and diligence
thus require a more systemic and cross-discipline approach.
Peter Vloyanetes’ presentation covered
project management as it relates to the development of E-Learning, covering
the Instructional Design Process and use of Best Practices necessary to
insure a successful project. Mr. Vloyanetes shared highlights from
a business case study for Sony Electronics and a learning content management
system he currently uses for his projects.
Peter Vloyanetes has over 20 years experience
in managing interactive multimedia, video and film projects for a wide
range of companies from healthcare and technology to package & consumer
goods. He is Senior Vice President for TvPath, a professional communications
and education company. He also instructs business clients in the
practical application of project management techniques for multimedia communications
and E-Learning.
