The telecom industry has experienced significant changes over the last decade and Telcordia has been changing to remain in the vanguard of the industry. They have grown from a New Jersey based firm, primarily serving domestic customers, to a corporation with offices and customers worldwide. Their expansion has included the establishment of development centers in global markets as well as the pursuit of outsourcing and strategic partnering. This talk explored theTelcordia journey, focusing on the Best Practices required to maintain its industry leadership in this global workspace. Mr. Roche has worked in the Telecommunications
industry for over 25 years. During that period he has led the development
of a broad range of Operations Support Systems including Element Management
Systems, Network Management Systems, Work Force Management Systems and
Service Negotiation Systems. Most recently he has been leading the
development of Telcordia's Service Delivery Platform.
