The PMI/New Jersey Networking local interest
group (LIG) was established to facilitate business and career networking
among PMI/NJ members. The Networking Group’s goals are to provide
additional networking opportunities to PMI/NJ chapter members in the form
of networking events, educational forums, and professional development
opportunities. Business networking resources have been added to the
PMI/NJ members via the Chapter Web site. In addition to regular chapter
meetings, the Networking Group supplements existing business networking
opportunities and collaboration among Chapter members.
For NJ Project Managers in the Pharmaceutical
Industry
The PMI® Healthcare SIG is made up
of healthcare and project management professionals who share the unique
challenges of working in the dynamic healthcare arena. Not only is it a
$2.6 trillion (and growing) sector in the United States alone, healthcare
is quite personal, it affects each and every one of us. We believe
we have a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on healthcare
as practitioners from industry, government, non-profits, educational institutions,
and other public entities. As professionals at the forefront of implementing
new technology, practices, and policies within our organizations we are
the agents for change. When we bring together our collective knowledge
and voices we have the opportunity to share success, one project at a time,
and one organization at a time through adoption of best management practices.
Every day in our work we as individuals make positive differences. Together
we can lay a broader foundation for high performance through better project
management. It is our goal that one day health care will be one of the
best managed markets in the world.
