Previous Symposium information
Imagine a majestic ship with rock-climbing, spas, shopping, a casino and delectable food 24/7. Every evening there will be networking parties, dancing, karaoke and shows. On two of those days, while at sea, you will earn 8 PDUs attending seminars led by some of the super stars of Project Management: Lee Lambert, Carl Pritchard and Lowell Dye.
No need to imagine, the NJ-PMI chapter is sponsoring its first Seminar at Sea in May 2008. The trip is a dream cruise from Bayonne, NJ to Bermuda on May 17 for 5-nights. There are 100 cabins reserved on the beautiful Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Explorer of the Sea. This particular cruise is in high demand because of the destination and the time of the year. So, book early to be a part of what will be an outstanding experience.
The cruise leaves on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday the first four-hour seminar session will occur aboard the ship in their state of the art Conference Center, We dock on Monday in Bermuda and leave port on Tuesday afternoon. You are free to stroll the beaches and streets of Bermuda or stay aboard. On Wednesday the second four-hour seminar session will at sea.
When you are attending the seminar there will be events for your family and friends. Each day there will be networking events that you and your family can attend.
On Thursday morning the cruise returns to Bayonne, NJ. You will have fun and learn at the same time.
The theme of this event is “The Professional Development of You [PDyoU]: Charting a course for your Success and Survival”.
Registration is a two-step process: register for the Seminar on the PMI-NJ website and download the form to register for the cruise. To attend the cruise you must use our exclusive travel agent, Travel Zone. Sherry will answer all of your questions and help you through the process.
