Description:

Be sure you are thoroughly prepared for the PMP certification exam by registering for the NJ Chapter's highly recommended PMP Exam Review Class.  You will earn 20 training hours which can be used towards the 35 hour requirement for PMP exam eligibility.  If you need additional training hours to fulfill the requirement, see the list of Registered Education Providers at http://www.pmi.org/info/PDC_REPOverviewFile.asp?nav=0406.

The PMP Examination Preparation Course (PMP Prep) of the PMI New Jersey Chapter provides attendees with the information that will help them pass the PMI PMP Examination.  PMP Prep is an overview of project management as outlined in PMI's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge of Third Edition".

PMI uses specific definitions and interpretations that, while correct, are not used by all companies.  The course relates such definitions to other usages of the terminology so that students know PMI definitions and how they relate to their understanding.  Typically when people fail an Exam section, it is often in an area they know.  Thus, it is important to focus one's studies on PMI's expectations.

Please note:  The class is intended for those individuals who have done nearly all of their preparation for the PMP Exam.  It is a high-level comprehensive review of all the PMBOK knowledge areas to get you focused before the exam and it is expected that students already understand the basics of all the knowledge areas.

You will earn 20 hours towards the 35 required hours of training for PMP eligibility.
