PMP - CAPM Exam Prep Course

at DeVry University - North Brunswick

30, April, 07, 14 May 2016

Course updated to provide 6 more hours of training

In today's tough economy and competitive work environment, attaining your Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification is more important than ever to help you excel and stand out as a project manager.  To get either of these high-demand and industry-recognized certifications, you must pass PMI’s rigorous certification exam.  For people who fail to pass the exam, it is not unusual for it to be in a knowledge area that they are familiar with.  That is because in addition to the breadth of project management knowledge that is tested, the exam uses specific vocabulary and concepts that may be used differently, or not at all, by other organizations.  Therefore, it is very important to focus one's studies on knowing and understanding PMI's expectations.

Let us help you properly prepare for success with the PMP or CAPM exam.  Register today for our long-running (since 1996) and highly-rated PMP-CAPM Exam Prep Course (PMP-CAPM Prep).

Description:

This course is a comprehensive review of project management as outlined in PMI's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)—Fifth Edition" and provides students with the information that will help them pass the PMP or CAPM examination.  The topics are taught by our team of experienced PMP-certified instructors who will teach you the terminology, processes, tools and techniques from PMI’s perspective that successful test-takers must know.  The classes are interactive using a format of lecture and exercises.  The instructors will also share with the class their own exam-taking experience and study tips.

Students are expected to have some prior experience with project management as well as a basic understanding of all the knowledge areas.  This course works best for those students who have already done a lot of their preparation for the PMP or CAPM exam as it will help them get better-focused in their studies before taking the exam.  Of course, many other students who have had less experience and were in earlier stages of their preparation have also benefited from taking this course.

Students who attend the entire course will earn a total of 24 hours towards the required number of hours of training for PMP and CAPM exam eligibility.
