The PMI New Jersey Chapter PMP Examination Preparation Course (PMP
Prep) provides attendees with the information that will help them pass the
PMI PMP Examination. PMP Exam Prep is an overview of project management
as outlined in PMI's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge
- Fifth Edition".
PMI uses specific definitions and interpretations that, while correct,
are not used by all companies. The course relates such definitions to
other usages of the terminology so that students know PMI definitions and
how they relate to their understanding. Typically when people fail an
Exam section, it is often in an area they know. Thus, it is important
to focus one's studies on PMI's expectations.
The class is intended for those individuals who have done nearly all
of their preparation for the PMP Exam. It is a high-level comprehensive
review of all the PMBOK knowledge areas to get you focused before the exam
and it is expected that students already understand the basics of all the
