Description:

In today's tough economic times, attaining your PMP certification is more important than ever.  Make sure you are prepared by enrolling in our PMP Exam Prep Class which is compatible with PMBOK Fifth Edition. The class will be held over three Saturdays.

PMINJ has partnered with Velociteach to provide added value to our students.  Although still taught by PMINJ's team of experienced instructors, each student will also receive:

  • Andy Crowe’s Pass the PMP 5th Edition textbook
  • InAct course workbook
  • Quick Reference Guide
  • Study Flash Cards
  • Conversations on the PMP Exam
  • 6 months access to InSite – Practice Test A, a 200 question exam simulation that can be broken down by knowledge area and process group
Be sure you are thoroughly prepared for the PMP certification exam by registering for the NJ Chapter's highly recommended PMP Exam Prep Class.   If you need additional training hours to fulfill the requirement, see the list of Registered Education Providers on the PMI website.

The PMI New Jersey Chapter PMP Examination Preparation Course (PMP Prep) provides attendees with the information that will help them pass the PMI PMP Examination.  PMP Exam Prep is an overview of project management as outlined in PMI's "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge - Fifth Edition".

PMI uses specific definitions and interpretations that, while correct, are not used by all companies.  The course relates such definitions to other usages of the terminology so that students know PMI definitions and how they relate to their understanding.  Typically when people fail an Exam section, it is often in an area they know.  Thus, it is important to focus one's studies on PMI's expectations.

Note:
The class is intended for those individuals who have done nearly all of their preparation for the PMP Exam.  It is a high-level comprehensive review of all the PMBOK knowledge areas to get you focused before the exam and it is expected that students already understand the basics of all the knowledge areas.

You will earn 20 hours towards the 35 required hours of training for PMP eligibility.
