Abstract

speaker Ed Han is a current Job-Hunt.org contributor, NJ JobSeeker’s facilitator, and agency recruiter. He's been training on LinkedIn since 2009 and is ready to share what he's learned since then about LinkedIn Job Search, and the recruiter perspective on all of this and more!

  • Learn the difference between your resume and your LinkedIn profile, and why they work in tandem.

Bio:
Ed Han is a recruiter and job seeker ally with a passion for networking and helping professionals return to the workforce. As a veteran of several industries, including publishing, financial services and fashion, Ed has a keen understanding of and appreciation for the skills and traits valued in a wide range of environments, from Wall Street to fashion to publishing.

Although he came to recruiting only in the past several years, Ed finds fulfillment professionally as a technical recruiter most recently at Alltech Consulting Services in Princeton, an IT solutions and staffing firm where he sources and selects top-shelf talent for the firm's clients. He finds the diversity of his prior work experience a boon in connecting with candidates and understanding the needs of clients.

Active in his community, Ed helps facilitate the job search group NJ JobSeekers in Princeton NJ and has previously served as the Executive Chair of the PSG of Mercer County and as the online community manager for the HR networking group Whine & Dine. He recently launched his own job search group, Land Faster, which meets monthly in Warren. Since autumn 2017 he is also an adjunct instructor at Princeton Adult School where he leads a course about LinkedIn.

The holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from Albright College (Reading, PA) awarded in 1993, Ed is an avid social media fiend.
