| Ken Clyne,
In the current economic downturn there
is very real pressure for IT departments to do more with less, to allocate
resources to only the most critical projects and to execute flawlessly.
With a systematic focus on delivering value, removing waste, and continuously
identifying and removing impediments to optimal efficiency, Agile software
project management practices become even more compelling in tough financial
times and the question becomes not, “Why implement Agile now?” but, “How
can you afford to NOT implement Agile now?!”
In this presentation Ken describes some
typical reactions to falling budgets and some common pitfall and solutions
and presents better alternatives to achieve cost-savings and improve prioritization.
Attendees will walk away with a better appreciation for the benefits and
mechanics of Agile and Lean software development approaches and real techniques
that will help make their projects more successful today.
