Abstract

Creating e-Learning content is challenging because it must address and conquer a broad array of strategic and tactical issues ranging from course development to hardware and software information technology, to knowledge transfer and business alignment.  Uncertainties, estimating, and risk factors, previously addressed independently, now become interwoven in a more complex and dynamic manner. Mitigation and diligence thus require a more systemic and cross-discipline approach.

Peter Vloyanetes’ presentation covered project management as it relates to the development of E-Learning, covering the Instructional Design Process and use of Best Practices necessary to insure a successful project.  Mr. Vloyanetes shared highlights from a business case study for Sony Electronics and a learning content management system he currently uses for his projects.
