Abstract

This presentation will introduce the three levels of enterprise process maturity:
  • Chaos:  there is no process, people do their own things, some know what to do and others don't.
  • Order:  knowledge, people, and technology are starting to integrate, people are sharing, it is not only documented but used with technology for day-to-day execution.
  • Alive!:  process is not only integrated but it is now organic and evolving with everyone's input.
Come and learn about how process, people, and technology can transform any organization by focusing on the "how" rather than only the "what".  PMI’s PMBOK is an example of the "how".  It provides guidelines.  Now, imagine PMBOK coming alive as actionable and repeatable steps on a daily basis.  Imagine these steps getting better with team input and constant improvement.  Also, imagine other process areas like value management, security process, and quality assurance coming alive as we drive better methods that can be both flexible and repeatable.  The presenter, Paul Dandurand, will take a look at the three levels of maturity and how they relate to business goals such as reducing costs, increasing revenues, or staying out of trouble.  In addition, he will demonstrate how the PIEmatrix technology provides the missing link with best practices.
