Abstract

Project managers often find themselves in contentious, hostile situations and need ways to restore peace and productivity in their teams.  But what is peace? And why should we, as project managers be concerned?  How can we define it in an operationally meaningful way?   What are the actions and behaviors project managers can do to make an impact – on people and projects?

Ron’s presentation includes interactive discussion, “real life” stories, and eye-opening examples to answer the questions:
  • "Can project managers really have an impact on peace?”
  • “What’s in it for me?”
You will:
  • gain practical insights, tools and techniques to enhance your project management interpersonal skills
  • learn thoughts and tactics to create more peaceful projects and work environments
