Don Warkentin will explore the ‘art’ of
influencing without authority in business. We will explore
examples of well-known leaders and how they were able to
achieve results through influence, regardless of challenges
faced.
Using Dale Carnegie’s time-tested Human Relations
Principles, he will describe how to motivate and influence
others to action. You will leave with practical ideas that
can be implemented immediately in the workplace to influence
others, gain cooperation and get things done.
Bio:
Don Warkentin is the Director of Training for Dale
Carnegie Training of Central & Southern New Jersey. He
delivers customized training for clients and manages a team
of talented trainers. He consistently exceeds client
expectations and has led projects that have grown from small
engagements to global roll outs of training. He is a
Licensed Trainer in the Dale Carnegie Course®, Presentation
Effectiveness, Leadership / Management Development, Customer
Service, Team Member Engagement, People Side of Process
Improvement and seminars. He obtained certification in a
range of General Electric professional skills and leadership
programs. He is also a certified ISO 9000 internal auditor.
Mr Warkentin has worked with client organizations in
addressing critical training and coaching needs for clients
as wide-ranging as Bank of America, ARI, Johnson&
Johnson, Celgene, Joint Base McGuire *Dix* Lakehurst,
Merrill Lynch, ShopRite, and Bank of America.
