Mike
Palestina is a Certified Executive Coach and
Leadership Development Consultant who collaborates with
senior executives, mid-level managers, and other leaders to
inspire and enhance individual’s attitudes, behaviors, and
performance, resulting in increased employee engagement and
retention. These shifts ultimately contribute to
successfully reaching desired goals and exceeding individual
and organizational expectations.
Mike’s Fortune 500 business leadership experience (in a
variety of non-HR related functional areas including
Marketing and Business Development, Client Implementation
and Services, IT, Project Management and Operations)
combined with 400+ hours of accredited training in coaching,
emotional awareness and verbal and non-verbal
communications, provide him with a real-world appreciation
of the challenges senior leaders face throughout their
careers and within their organizations.
Mike is passionate about helping others modify behaviors.
His style is focused but informal, with an emphasis on
collaborating with clients to establish a secure,
trustworthy, and relaxed environment in which to remove
obstacles and achieve results. Utilizing his extensive
practical business experience Mike blends coaching practices
with mentoring, advising, and counseling as well, thus
providing his clients with a richer interpersonal experience
in which to modify attitudes, behaviors, and performance.

Industry Experience: Mike has personally experienced and
understands the challenges leaders face throughout their
organizations. Industry areas of specialization include
Healthcare, Insurance, Utilities, Finance, Banking, Pharma
& Biotech, Consumer Products, Professional Sports,
Manufacturing, and Academia.
Noted Accomplishments:
Partnered with a CEO of the Americas of a European company
on a variety of leadership behaviors including delegation,
cross cultural communications and collaboration. Based on
positive results our initial 6-month engagement was extended
to prepare for increased global responsibilities.
Collaborated with a highly successful executive on the fast
track for CEO at a utility provider on developing a more
collaborative executive presence. Utilizing 360° feedback,
we identified specific destructive behaviors and adjusted
accordingly. This contributed to more constructive
relationships with direct reports and a free exchange of
ideas.
Partnered with a Chief Marketing Officer in a data analytics
firm on developing and executing a 90/180 day plan in
support of their employer’s overall strategy. Acted as a
sounding board to minimize productivity dips when client
became distracted by “shiny objects”.

Education: Mike holds a B.A. in Business Administration from
William Paterson University; Certified graduate of Corporate
Coach University, Executive Training Program of Boston

Certified Life and Job Search Coach
Tony Calabrese is a certified Life and Career
Coach. A lifelong New Jersey resident, he has thrived
through a series of life changing events.
Coaching, consulting, facilitating support groups, and
writing blogs and newsletters provide the opportunity for
him to share what he has learned with others.
Additionally, the last several years have afforded him the
opportunity to be a “student of life”, and he knows that
will continue by partnering with others as they continue
forward on their life’s journey.
After a long and successful career in Project Management and
Systems assignments, a series of life events led Tony to
shift directions and pursue a new career in coaching.
In 2009, Tony earned his certifications from the Institute
for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) in both their
intensive coach training program and their Energy Leadership
assessment and debrief process. He enjoys working with
the ever growing population of individuals who are facing
many different life challenges as they transition from one
new experience to another.
Tony continued to expand his coaching knowledge and services
that he is able to offer his clients. In August of
2011, he became a Certified Career Coach. He believes
in guiding his clients through a strategic job search
process that allows them to target what position it is they
next want for their career. He is well versed in all
steps of the job search process from assessment, to research
and targeting, to preparing how to present oneself to
interview, and how to follow-up on those opportunities which
present themselves.
Tony is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF)
and was President of its New Jersey chapter in 2012.
He has also held the office of Secretary for the New Jersey
chapter of ICF.
Tony and his wife, Carolina, reside in Maplewood, NJ.

Marian possesses a Master’s Degree in Education from Indiana
University and is an ACC-ICF Associate Certified Coach. She
currently teaches business courses in the Professional and
Continuing Education program at Rutgers University. She is
the VP of Programs for NNJ ATD (Association for Talent
Development) and an active member of Toastmasters
International.
