Our chapter’s Agile Local Community of Interest (LCI) group meets in-person about three times a year prior to the main presentation at our monthly programs. Some attendees have expressed an interest to extend the discussions that occur at these gatherings. Furthermore, it is not always convenient or possible for members to attend these occasional monthly meetings.

We have listened. As Agile encourages experimentation, we are going to pilot a virtual discussion group for three months.  The discussion group will concentrate on topics regarding agile project management challenges, best practices, and experiences.

The group will meet once a month for an hour the Tuesday following each of PMINJ’s monthly meetings. Each meeting will have a specific topic for discussion.  The meetings will be conducted virtually using Zoom and will be facilitated by a veteran Agile practitioner.
