Abstract

In our highly competitive business environment, project managers must deal with more complex, more innovative, and more risky projects under increased resource and time constraints. This pushes their professional challenges beyond management and into leadership.

Good leaders have the capability to set and achieve goals by encouraging a culture of trust and collaboration. They have the subtlety to lead upward, the influence to lead downward, and humility to lead sideways. How can one master such capability and utilize their full leadership potential?

In this presentation, we will evaluate leadership in practical terms; examine who the real leaders are and what makes them so, as well as learn about methods used in management consultants' leadership training.
