Resolve to make 2020 the year you take a panoramic view of your PM career and its future possibilities.  On Monday, professionals from every business sector in NJ will gather to gain the knowledge, skills, and connections required for success with a full day Symposium on Project Management – A 360o View.

For those who have not attended before:  The Symposium features three keynote speakers and three breakout sessions with four different tracks of subject matter, providing a wide selection of topics that give you an opportunity to earn up to 8 PDUs.  Held at the Palace at Somerset Park, this centrally located state-of-the-art venue is famous for its facilities and food. You will be able to network with over 500 fellow project managers.  During breaks, visit with Exhibitors including recruiting firms, PMINJ strategic partners, and universities.  Did we mention the 8 PDUs?

For returning attendees:  This May’s Symposium offers a particularly rich set of topics and speakers.  Andy Kaufman, the award-winning speaker on project management and leadership and host of the acclaimed People & Projects podcast will provide the opening keynote.  Emmy award winning visual effects supervisor Glenn Campbell will provide a special noon keynote, and the closing keynote will be presented by PMI Fellow and father or IPM Day Frank Saladis.  Track sessions will focus on the full spectrum of project management subjects, including soft skills, hard skills, processes & tools and case studies.

Negotiations Workshop, on Sunday    The ½-day Sunday Seminar, held at the Doubletree by Hilton in Somerset the afternoon before the Symposium, will provide an informative, hands-on training session on negotiations entitled “Don’t Leave it On the Table” led by Kimi Hiratsu Ziemski . Earn 4 PDUs and learn how to navigate negotiations to successful outcomes.
