Practical Advice to Inspire Women Leaders to Transform the Workplace

Empowering Women In Leadership LCI Meeting

Abstract

It's time to step forward with confidence, capability and credibility because women leaders should own your careers with aspirations to do what you love, be whomever you want to be and be successful.  We have high expectations of leaders. Be reasonable but passionate. Decisive but inclusive.   Visionary but explicit.  Powerful but humble.  Add to that emotionally intelligent, caring, impartial, people-oriented, and, profit-driven.

How can we be all of these?  The answer is confidence with your capabilities.  It's what enables a leader to face tough times and give leadership its strength. Your confidence is a result of building your capabilities, at all levels, to prepare to transform organizations.

Developing your professional brand with an elevator pitch to create visibility is essential.  Creating a roadmap of aspirational conversations for your career strategy sets an intentional path.  We will talk about networking inside and outside your company.  We’ll describe the difference between mentors and sponsors and why you need both.

The Leading with Confidence program illustrates how you can become more confident, courageous and capable. We discuss the primary premises that describe the vital role in the workplace and our lives.  We introduce women to building core capabilities and principles for success in the workplace and our lives.
