GRIDALL: A Comprehensive Framework for Capturing Project Information

24 Jun 2021 - Virtual
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Virtual using Zoom

  • Common PM tools like ADIs and RAIDs are not complete, leaving out some key project information
  • These tools do not provide for a continuous flow of project information throughout the project management lifecycle
  • Risks are often considered in a vacuum, not in the context of goals
  • Decisions are often captured as standalone statements rather than in the context of the issue
  • These tools do not allow for a feedback loop to enable teams to continuously improve on their performance
  • The GRIDALL model offers an improvement over these tools

Learning Objectives
  • Review common tools for capturing project information (e.g., ADI or RAID logs) and understand their deficiencies
  • Describe the advantages of using the GRIDALL framework to capture project information
  • Demonstrate the use of best-practice tools to achieve all components of the GRIDALL framework
