Abstract

Changing people's behaviours, attitudes and ways of working is often the unwritten project success criteria. All stakeholders are in favour of change as long as the change doesn’t impact them.

The relationship between Change Management and Project Management is deeply misunderstood. Resistance is inherent in the human condition. In this session John will share what does it really take to implement Organisation Change Management to drive project success.

Speaker

John McGrath is a world renowned project management advisor. He has consulted to over 250 global companies, government and international enterprises, including the United Nations, the London and Rio Paralympics and the World Bank. He has presented at over 100 international project management conferences and a close friend to PMI New Jersey.

John also has a proven track record in project management education. He is currently the course director for the MSc Project Management at Technological University Dublin. Several PMINJ Chapter members have contributed articles to his publication: the PMO Roadshow. John is currently working with the Project Foundry to produce a paper on “Leading in Times of Uncertainty”
