Abstract
David Vincenti, project manager and poet, will share learnings from a 35-year career which has so far included four job eliminations, two company acquisitions, 22 bosses, five corporate functions, three office relocations, and fifteen musical performances in campus cafeterias. In this short talk, David will discuss some of the strategies which have proven successful for him as he transitions into the next epoch of his career.

David Vincenti, PMP is a father, husband, project manager, engineer, accordionist, poet, and Mets fan. In his 35-year career in the medical device industry, David has led the development of products ranging from phlebotomy accessories to protein-separating ultracentrifuges to diabetes management systems. He has presented to academic and professional audiences on topics including interview skills, professional development, and project management, and has been recognized for his work with career planning for early-career technical professionals. David holds degrees in Materials Engineering and Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.
