Abstract
As we work with agile teams we may find ourselves doing things without understanding why we do them? What would your Team say if you asked "What makes us an Agile Team?" Having worked with agile teams over the last 15 years Bob would say that sometimes their answers may really surprise you. Unfortunately, I have seen companies place people on teams and say you need to agile and figure out how to follow Scrum. Employees listen and often start organizing Scrum Events and then report to management that we're agile now.
During the presentation Bob will share the differences between "doing" and "being" agile while providing tools you can bring back to your Team(s). Bob will help you answer the "What makes us an Agile Team" question while sharing how embracing an agile mindset can help enable the employee behaviors that the companies need to remain competitive.
Based on survey feedback from our last session (Inspect and
Adapt) we will ensure that there is more time for questions
and discussion throughout the presentation. We plan to
formally end the presentation and discussion at 7PM but Bob
will stay on-line till 7:15PM for any additional
questions.
