Abstract
The PMINJ Agile LCI will conduct our remote Agile Discussion Group (ADG) to share information about agile certifications. This is a repeat of the topic that we covered a few years ago. We are doing this now to provide guidance on potentially the best certification that may meet your needs since you may be interested in pursuing a certification (or two) during the Summer.
Do we really need more acronyms? CSM or PSM? PSPO or CSPO? CSP or ACP? What do these mean and which path should you take to pursue agile certifications? Not interested? Maybe you should be! Perhaps you will be interviewing someone holding one or more of these or you may want to obtain a few for yourself to help you understand and work with agile teams.
During the session we will discuss what certifications you could consider through a comparison across a few tracks and how to get there. It is good to understand what they are and how they can help you since there are many to choose from.
Notes:
This session will be similar to the Agile Certifications session that the ADG conducted in 2022. Keep in mind that as time goes by and your job demands change you will probably be looking at certifications with a different lens. Our previous presentation will be updated to reflect what's trending now while including newer certifications.
