Abstract

Ever wonder why you didn’t get a timely call back after an interview? Or why you didn’t get that job offer when you KNEW you aced the interview? Or if they’re actually telling you the whole truth about your candidacy? The answers may surprise you. But experienced recruiters know the answers, and after this presentation, you will too.

Recruiting is a far more complex process than most people realize. It’s an administrative job. And a public realtions job. And a sales job. And it demands attention to some very strict legal implications that must be made to look tranparent to the candidate.

The goal of this presentation is to give job seekers some insight into what hiring managers and recruiters are thinking on their side of the interview process, and to offer some common-sense suggestions on how you can take advantage of that to make your job search less stressful and more successful.
