Abstract:
This presentation introduces the concept of personal branding and its critical role in professional success. Participants will gain awareness of what their personal brand is, why it matters, and how it influences credibility, trust, and leadership presence. The session emphasizes the importance of strategic, consistent, and authentic brand management and provides actionable tools to help project managers shape and strengthen their professional identity. By aligning personal branding with organizational and client expectations, participants will learn how to enhance their influence, differentiate themselves, and drive greater career impact.
Session Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Define what a personal brand is and recognize how it shapes professional presence.
  • Identify their own core strengths, values, and differentiators that contribute to their brand.
  • Apply strategies to communicate their brand consistently and authentically across projects and client engagements.

Speaker:
Speaker Heather Williams is a Senior Consultant at Integrated Project Management Company (IPM), where she delivers expert project management and organizational change management consulting.

With over 17 years of experience, she has guided projects spanning system migrations, regulatory compliance, and large-scale business transformations. Prior to her current role, Heather held leadership positions at NASA, the U.S. Army, and Target Corporation, where she directed complex initiatives and fostered cultural alignment.

She is a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP™) and earned her degree in Russian Studies from Penn State University.

Beyond her professional work, Heather actively volunteers, mentoring English learners and supporting disaster relief efforts.
