Abstract:
“Lessons Learned” is a form of project evaluation that seeks to determine what went right, what went wrong, and what could have been done differently. This webinar will introduce the principles of conducting Lessons Learned analysis.

Benefits
It is assumed that a project is complete when it has adhered to the project plan (schedule, scope, quality, and cost). But when is the project REALLY considered a success or a failure? What does a business, institution, company or organization have to do to ensure each project performed as DESIRED, meeting or exceeding stakeholder and sponsor expectations?

A proven system is necessary to ensure that project outcomes are assessed and analyzed. The benefits of project evaluation through conducting lessons learned are two-fold:
  1. Accountability and results
  2. Future planning and process improvement
Utilizing the system for Lessons Learned will help you determine merit (quality), worth (value), or significance (importance) of project components.

What You Will Learn

  • The two dimensions of Lessons Learned: summative and formative
