Abstract
In recognition of
Women in Construction Month, PMINJ’s Construction Local Community of Interest (LCI) will host a
90-minute panel discussion featuring women leaders contributing to some of New Jersey and New York’s most complex public infrastructure programs.
This informational session introduces attendees to the
four core domains of the PMI Construction Professional (PMI-CP™) credential through real-world perspectives.
Panelists from the
Port Authority of New York & New Jersey (PANYNJ), NJ Transit and MTA will share how these domains show up in practice across large, multi-stakeholder capital projects.
The panel discussion will be structured around the PMI-CP domains:
- Communications
- Scope and Change Management
- Interface Management
- Contracts and Risk Management
These domains reflect the latest PMI-CP™ credential curriculum and are recognized as the core competencies for construction project management professionals.
Panelists will also reflect on their professional journeys, leadership responsibilities, and lessons learned working within complex infrastructure environments offering attendees a grounded view of both the
technical and human aspects of construction delivery.
This webinar is intended for project managers, construction professionals, engineers, and practitioners seeking an
informational introduction to PMI-CP concepts, while recognizing and celebrating the contributions of women advancing the built environment.
