Abstract

At this meeting, PMI/NJ Chapter members were immersed in a real project environment with the aid of a computer simulation. You were reminded, possibly, of the hands-on project management work you thought you'd left behind that afternoon in your office! Unlike real life you had the chance to stop and reflect (with your dinner table's fellow practitioners) on what may work while executing the project and what may not. You learned from your mistakes and successes and from the shared decision-making behind your chosen actions to "right" the key metrics of the evening's PM opportunity. There was immediate confirmation of action taken, of impact upon cost, schedule and quality, and more!
