Mission
The PMINJ Chapter is seeking speakers to present original
content related to project management topics for its
Symposia, Seminars, IPM day, Workshops, and Monthly
meetings. Please consider submitting a presentation within
the guidelines detailed below.
Speakers should identify their proposed presentation for
an hour to an hour and a half session. Final
presentation lengths will be determined as part of the
review process. Your presentation will be reviewed by a
panel of PMP volunteers who are seeking to prepare an
exciting and varied program that meets the needs of our
chapter members. Selection criteria include:
originality, contribution to Project Management,
timeliness of the topic, speaker experience and references
(YouTube video and client testimonials are highly
recommended). All decisions by the review team will
be final.
If your presentation is accepted, you will be asked to
confirm your commitment and you will be assigned a speaker
angel who will work with you in the months before the
event to help you shape your presentation in line with
event requirements such as formatting, timing for Q&A,
etc. Final copies of presentations are required a month
prior to the presentation. Your finalized
presentation is made available to you on a laptop that is
set-up for your session. Changes to the presentation will
not be accepted after the final submission.
Presentations will be selected by review once we have
received your presentation and the following supporting
submittal materials. To be considered, all
submissions need to be received electronically by the
submission deadline. Incomplete
submissions will not be reviewed.
