Last week in Dublin, volunteer leaders gathered for the PMI Leadership Institute Volunteer Planning Meeting 2026, to align priorities and find better ways to work together across global initiatives.
One highlight for me was having our
first in‑person meeting of the Construction Ambassador Program Advisory Team (CAPAT). It was also great to finally connect face‑to‑face and spend time with peers from groups like Sustainability and Thought Leadership, talking through where our work overlaps and how we can create more impact together. The discussions were practical and focused on turning strategy into tools and guidance that project professionals can actually use.
Our CAPAT team also shared
2025 results and 2026 Q1 Regional Action Plans, which helped create a common picture of where we are and where we’re headed across regions.
On a personal note, I’m very grateful to my home chapter, PMINJ, for nominating me as a Global Ambassador, and to PMI’s global leadership for appointing me
Regional Lead for the USA. I’m excited about the responsibility that comes with that role and the opportunity to help connect ideas, people, and practice across our community.
