The PMINJ Symposium Team’s goal is to
take our event from GOOD to GREAT! We will present a
Sunday Seminar on April 30, 2017, and our yearly Symposium
on Monday May 1, 2017, at The Pines Manor in Edison, NJ.
As always, PMINJ is dedicated to improving your core
competencies based on the
PMI
Talent Triangle’s ideal skill set for project
managers: Strategy & Business Management, Leadership,
and Technical Project Management. In keeping with the
theme of INNOVATION and our desire to continuously
improve, we have evaluated your survey feedback, gathered
your requirements and devised a
NEW AGENDA
FORMAT that will enhance your event experience.
This year our speaker presentations will target seasoned
project managers working across the IT, Pharmaceutical,
Financial, Construction, and Government industries. Three
(3) keynote speakers and three (3) track speakers will
seek to inspire and motivate you and your project teams to
be INNOVATIVE and find new and better solutions for your
business.
David Barrett will be presenting our Sunday seminar
(afternoon workshop), “From a Good Project Manager to a
Great Leader” and our Monday morning keynote, "The Keys to
Our Success - Lessons Learned from 25 of our Best Project
Managers". Additional information on our presentations
will be added to our
SPEAKERS webpage
as it becomes available.
We have expanded the two (2) breaks to 60 minutes that
will allow you more time to network with the new faces you
meet. Also in the vendor room, you will be able to
visit with the SPONSORS. The sponsors will have an
opportunity for short presentations in the vendor
room. In addition, the PMINJ chapter teams and our
associated Local Communities of Interest (LCI’s) will
identify how you can get involved and benefit from the
association. You may even win a prize in one our sponsored
raffles so don’t forget your business cards!
Our community outreach continues with the “PMINJ Cares”
food drive. We thank you for your past support and will
again be accepting food as well as cash donations at the
event.
We are also making an effort to “Go Green” this year by
providing all event materials and presentations via
download from the PMINJ website one week before the event.
Instead of printing the materials, please consider using
your smartphone or tablet during the event. You will also
be able to give us your survey feedback during the event
using your smart device.
We look forward to meeting you at the PMINJ Symposium
2017!
